Gymnasium of the St. Mór School
koncepcióterv / concept plan, 2003
A pécsi belvárosi Szent Mór Katolikus Általános Iskola tornacsarnokának koncepcióterve 2003-ban készült az iskola vezetésének megbízásából. A tervezett csarnok az iskola belső udvarának szintjeit kihasználva részben a föld alá, meglevő terméskő támfal mögé került. Az épület tetején, a mai legfelső terasz szinten kültéri sportpálya kapott helyet.
The conception plan of the gymnasium of the St. Mór Catholic Primary School in the downtown of Pécs was made by Krisztián Kovács-Andor on behalf of the school management in 2003. The planned building, utilizing the different levels of the school's courtyard, was partially underground, behind an existing natural stone retaining wall. At the top of the building an outdoor sports field was evolved.

Kovács-Andor Krisztián pályázati terve a Mesteriskola 18. ciklusának felvételi terveként készült 2004-ben. A terv a pesti bérházak magas tégla tűzfalai közötti negatív teret értelmezte újra. Az épületegyüttes átörökítette a nyers tűzfalak tégla architektúráját és egy "negatív krátert", egy nyugodt, csendes belső világot alakított ki a zajos pesti városszövetben.
The plan was made as the admission plan for the 18th cycle of the Masterschool by Krisztián Kovács-Andor in the year 2004. The plan redefined the negative space among the high-rise brick firewalls of the old apartment houses in Pest. The building complex inherited the brick architecture of the raw firewalls and created a "negative crater", a calm, quiet interior courtyard in the noisy urban fabric of Pest.

A pécsi ókeresztény temetőt bemutató látogatóközpont terveit egy négy fős doktorandusz hallgatókból álló tervezőcsapat készítette, Bachman Zoltán professzor vezetésével. Az épület Kovács-Andor Krisztián DLA mestermunkája volt a PTE MIK doktori képzésében. A koncepciótervtől a kiviteli tervek elkészítéséig három év telt el, ami a teljes doktori időszakot lefedte. A Cella Septichora Látogatóközpont 2007-ben nyílt meg.
The visitor center of the early christian cemetery was designed by a four member team of doctoral students led by prof. Zoltán Bachman at the Univeristy of Pécs. The building was the DLA masterwork of Krisztián Kovács-Andor at the end of his doctoral studies from 2003 to 2006. The Cella Septichora Visitor Center was finished and opened in 2007.

A terv Tamás Anna Mária felvételi terve a Mesteriskola 20. ciklusára. A feladat a városi színház bővítése volt egy parkoló beépítésével és a hatalmas oromfalak eltakarásával. Fontos feladat volt a piac és a sétálóutcát összekötő tengely kezelése és a Bem utca új térfalának kialakítása is. A terv a helyi építészeti értékek és a kortárs design szemlélet ötvözésével készült.
The plan is the admission plan of Anna Mária Tamás for the 20th cycle of the Masterschool. The task was the extension of the local theatre using a parking lot and hiding the huge firewalls of the building. To handle the axis between the pedestrian street and the local market and to evolve the new square wall of the Bem Street were also important. The plan was designed as a blend of local architectural values and contemporary design.

2010-ben Pécs volt Európa egyik kulturális fővárosa. A kulturális fővárosi évet megelőzően a városban számos köztér-megújítási program zajlott. Az országos tervpályázaton nyert tervünk egy hatalmas, több mint 60.000 m2 nagyságú területtel foglalkozott, aminek fő feladata a Zsolnay negyed, az új kulcsprojektek és a pécsi belváros között elhelyezkedő terület kezelése volt.
Pécs was one of the European Capitals of Culture in 2010. Before the Capital of Culture year the city underwent numerous public space renovation programs. Our plan, which was won in a national design competition, dealt with a huge area of more than 60,000 m2, the main task of which was to manage the urban area among the Zsolnay quarter, the new key projects and the downtown Pécs.

Az EKF városrész közterületeinek megújítása projekt egyik fő eleme a 48-as tér megújítása volt. Az eredeti, elhanyagolt tér a megújítás után fontos szerepet kapott a belváros és az új kulturális negyed közötti útvonalon. A tér részben egyetemi, részben városi parkká alakult, ahol a Rákóczi út nagy forgalmának kizárására 120 cm magas, zajvédő falakkal határolt zöld, füves rézsűket terveztünk.
The 48-as Square was one of the main element of the renovation of the public spaces of the ECoC district project. The original neglected square was renewed as an urban park next to the university and got an important role between the new cultural district and the downtown. We designed green grassy slopes with 120 cm high noise barrier walls in order to exclude the high traffic of the Rákóczi út.

Az EKF városrész közterületeinek megújítása projekt másik fő eleme a Vasarely tér megújítása volt. Az eredetileg nem létező, a Búza tér részét képező kis terecske fontos szerepet kapott a Király utca, a sétáló utca keleti végének felélesztésében. A megújított téren éttermi teraszok települtek ki, szombatonként pedig helyi termelői piac működik itt.
The Vasarely Square was the other main element of the renovation of the public spaces of the ECoC district project. As a part of the Búza Square, the originally non-existent little square is now playing an important role in revitalizing the east end of King Street, the pedestrian street of the downtown. New restaurant terraces have appeared on the renewed square and it hosts a local community producers market on Saturdays.

A visegrádi városközpont tervezését országos tervpályázaton nyertük. A megbízás után engedélyezési tervet készítettünk az új városháza épültére, a mellette álló rendezvényépületre és a mozi felújítására. Az új városháza a jelenlegi Fő utca és majdani központ irányába is működik, pozíciójánál fogva összeköti a két területet. A rendezvényépület kisebb koncerteknek, előadásoknak, konferenciáknak is helyt ad.
We won the planning of the town center development of Visegrád on a competition. After the comission, we made plans for the new town hall, the event building and the renewal of the cinema. The new town hall also face towards the current Main Street and the future center, linking the two areas by its location. The event building hosts concerts, lectures and conferences.

2010-ben egy újabb tervezési programnak megfelelően módosítottuk a városközpont terveit. A rendezvény-épület funkciói részben bekerültek a városháza épületébe, részben pedig a moziból kialakított új kulturális központba. A jelenlegi egészségház udvara piactérré alakult, aminek szemközti oldalára egy új, faszerkezetű piacépületet is terveztünk.
We changed the plans of the city center according to another planning program in 2010. The functions of the event building were partly incorporated into the town hall and partly into the new cultural center developed from the old cinema. The courtyard of the current health center were transformed into a marketplace, where we have planned a new wooden structure market building as well.

A gazdasági válság kiteljesedése alapvetően megváltoztatta az új városvezetés szándékait és a tervezési programot. Minimális új építés mellett inkább a meglevő kihasználatlan épületek újrahasznosítására került a hangsúly. Az új program egyik fő eleme az egészségház volt, amely a külső megújítás mellet egy kis faszerkezetű bővítést is kapott.
The deepening of the economic crisis has fundamentally changed the intentions of the new city administration and the planning program. With minimal new construction, the emphasis was on reusing the existing unused buildings. One of the main elements of the new program was the health center, which received a small wooden structure extension in addition to the exterior renovation,

A rossz állapotú moziépület felújításával és bővítésével egy új kulturális központot terveztünk. Az új épületben a meglevő moziterem felújítása mellett egy nagyobb és több kisebb próbatermet alakítottunk ki az emeleten a zeneiskola részére, a földszinten pedig egy "kultur-kávézót" terveztünk, nagy terasszal a belső udvar felé.
With the renovation and extension of the bad condition cinema building, we planned a new cultural center. In addition to the renovation of the existing cinema hall, upstairs in the new building we have created a larger and several smaller rehearsal rooms for the music school and a "culture café" on the ground floor with a large terrace facing the inner courtyard.

A visegrádi városközponti fejlesztés újabb, megváltozott tervezési programjának legfontosabb új eleme a rendezvény pavilon faszerkezetű épülete, amely az új városközpont kapujaként jelenik meg, annak Duna felőli "arcát" adja. A pengefalra nyíló kapuk segítségével az épület nyitni tud a kis és a nagy rendezvénytér felé egyszerre, kapcsolatot teremtve a két közterület között.
The most important new element of the modified planning program for the city center development is the event pavilion. The wooden structure building marks the squarewall of the medieval main square and appears as the gate of the new city center, giving a face to the Danube river. The blade gates allow the building to open to both the small and large event space, creating a connection between the two public spaces.

A nagyméretű, exkluzív kialakítású családi házat egy mecsekoldali, lejtős telekre terveztük. A részben földbe süllyesztett, kétszintes ház kihasználja a terep adottságait. A kőburkolatos épület nagy tolóajtókkal nyit a városi panorámára, a méretes teraszokra és egy védett átriumra. Az épületben nagyméretű konyha-étkező-nappali tér, hálószobák és vendégszoba mellett dolgozó, borospince és játékszoba is van.
The large, exclusive, detached house is designed for a plot on the Mecsek side. Partially submerged, the two-story house takes advantage of the terrain. The stone-walled building opens with large sliding doors to the city skyline, large terraces and a protected atrium. Beside a large kitchen-dining-living area, bedrooms and a guest room the building has a workroom, wine cellar and a playroom as well.

A visegrádi Áprily Lajos Általános iskola bővítése új 8 tantermes iskolaépülettel. Az U alakú épülettömegben az osztályok az utca felé, a nagyméretű üvegezett közlekedők az udvarra és a fellegvárra tájoltak. Az udvari tömeg emeletén nyitott légterű rajz és táncterem található. Az új épület jól egészíti ki a középkori eredetű főépületet és a Makovecz-tornacsarnokot.
Extension of the local elementary school in Visegrád with a new 8 classroom building. In the U-shaped building mass, the classes are facing to the street, and the large glazed corridors are facing to the courtyard and the citadel. There is a high ceiling drawing and dance hall with a galery on the upper floor of the courtyard mass. The new building is a good complement to the medieval origin main building and the Makovecz gymnasium.

Egy befektetői csoport megbízásából, a P8 műhellyel közösen egy nagyszabású, két ütemű egyetemi fejlesztést terveztünk a pécsi egyetem orvosi karával szemközt található, régóta üresen álló saroktelekre. Az első ütem tervezési programjában közel 300 lakás, vendéglátó egységek, sport lehetőségek, egyéb szolgáltatások, valamint az ezekhez tartozó mélygarázs elhelyezése és közterületek kialakítása szerepelt.
On behalf of an investor group, together with the P8 workshop we were planning a two phase major university development on an unused, idle corner plot opposite the Medical Faculty of the Univerity of Pécs. The first phase planning program included close to 300 apartments, catering units, sports facilities, other services, and the associated underground garage and public areas.

A komlói Petőfi tér és környezetének megújítása során a térre és a mögötte levő sétányra új kőburkolatot, teraszokat, játszótereket, utcabútorokat, köz- és díszvilágítást terveztünk. A közterület-megújítási program a környező területek járdáinak, gyeprácsos parkolósávjainak, buszmegállóinak, út- és forgalom-technikájának, akadálymentesítésének terveit is tartalmazta.
During the renewal of Petőfi Square and its surroundings in Komló, we designed new stone pavings, terraces, playgrounds, street furniture, public and decorative lighting for the square and the promenade behind it. The public area renovation program also included plans for sidewalks, lawn parking lanes, bus stops, road and traffic technology, and accessibility for the surrounding areas.

A PTE Szőlészeti Kutatóintézetének majorsági épülete egy igazi mediterrán hangulatú épület a Szent Miklós-hegy oldalában, amely jelenleg leromlott állapotú és alul hasznosított. A tervezési program az épület gazdasági hasznosítását tűzte ki célul. Az alsó szinten multifunkciós vendéglátó és rendezvényteret, az fent 6 szobával és egy lakosztállyal rendelkező nívós szállásfunkciót terveztünk.
The main building of the Institute of Viticulture of the University of Pécs has a real mediterranean atmosphere on the hillside near Pécs. The building is currently in a dilapidated condition and underutilized. The planning program aimed at the economic utilization of the building. We designed a multifunctional catering and event space downstairs, and a high-quality accommo-dation with 6 rooms and an apartment above.

A komlói autóbuszállomást a P8 műhellyel közösen terveztük. A városszerkezeti összefüggések vizsgálata a után az új buszállomást a régi állomás helyén, de megváltozott út- és forgalomtechnikával terveztük. A nyomott költségekből fakadóan a építészeti program is minimális volt. Az egyszerű, tisztán szerkesztett épületet a körbefutó perontető és a halszálkás homlokzatburkolat teszi érdekessé.
The new bus station of Komló was designed together with the P8 workshop. After examining the urban structure relations, we planned the new bus station at the place of the old one, but with changed road and traffic technology. Due to the depressed investment costs, the architectural program was also minimal. The simple, clearly constructed building is made interesting by the surrounding platform roof and the herringbone pattern facade cladding.

A sikondai Ambient Hotel megbízásából a jelenlegi hotel épületéhez terveztünk egy négyszintes új épület-szárnyat, amelynek földszintjén egy konferencia központ, felette pedig három szinten 30 új szállodai szoba kapott helyet. Az új épületszárny léptékében illeszkedik a meglévő tömeghez, de építészetileg új minőséget hoz. Az épület mellet a fürdő környezetének és a strandterületnek a megújítását is terveztük.
On behalf of the Ambient Hotel in Sikonda, we designed a four-storey new building for the current hotel, with a conference center on the ground floor and 30 new hotel rooms on the three upper floors. The new building mass scales with the existing building, but adds a new quality architecturally. We also made plans for the development of the outdoor bath and the surrounding area.

Az új hotelszárny tervezése mellett a jelenlegi konyha és étterem bővítését, a termál- és élményfürdő felújítását is terveztük. A konyha- és étterembővítést a nagyobb vendégszám tette szükségessé. A fürdő idejemúlt belső terei új, korszerűbb designt kaptak. A régi, szintén elavult és alulméretezett konferenciaterem helyére izgalmas gyerekjátszót terveztünk.
At the Ambinent Hotel in Sikonda we also planned a kitchen and restaurant extension and the renewal of the thermal bath. The kitchen and restaurant extension was necessary by the larger number of guests. The old-fashioned interiors of the spa got a new, modern design. Instead of the old and undersized conference room, we designed an exciting kids' playground.

A budapesti Benedek Elek Egyesített Gyógypedagógiai Módszertani Intézmény bővítését a P8 Műhellyel közösen terveztük. A tervezési programban a meglevő iskolaépületet egy tornaszobával, 4 csoportszobával kellett bővíteni.
We planned the expansion of the Benedek Elek Unified Educational Methodology Institute in Budapest together with the P8 workshop. In the planning programme, the existing school building was to be extended with a small gym and 4 classrooms.
PTE ÁOK, Déli Park megújítása, Pécs / Medical Faculty, University of Pécs, Park renewal

A PTE Orvostudományi Karának megbízásából terveztük a campus főépülete előtti park teljes megújítását. A projekt révén a jelenleg zárt, részben parkolóként működő park autómentes, nyitott közterületté válik. A park a mai felhasználói igényekhez illeszkedő új út struktúrát, térburkolatokat, utcabútorokat és közvilágítás kap.
We designed the renewal of the park in front of the main building of the campus of the Faculty of Medicine in Pécs. The public space renewal project will transform the currently enclosed park into a car-free, open public space. The park will receive a new road structure, paving, street furniture and street lighting to meet the needs of today's users.
